Aspiring - $80.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year Automatic renewal (recurring payments) Aspiring members are just entering the profession as a photographer, for first time WPPA members only. This may include individuals seriously interested in photography but may be engaged in another occupation. Members are allowed to maintain an Aspiring membership for 2 years, but will then be required to upgrade to an Associate or Active membership. Aspiring members do not have voting rights and cannot hold office in WPPA. Aspiring members are eligible for all WPPA functions of WPPA including conventions, seminars, and print competition.

Associate - $90.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year Automatic renewal (recurring payments) Any Person who is associated with a studio and who is active in studio operation; technical paid personnel, colorist, receptionist, and sales personnel, provided that they are associated with a paid active member. This is a voting membership. Associate members are eligible for all functions of WPPA including conventions, seminars, and print competition.

Professional Active - $105.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments Any person shall be eligible for active membership provided this person derives a part of their income from the practice of professional photography. This includes owners, co-owners, partners, managers, and instructors of photography. This is a voting membership. Active members may hold office after 12 months of continuous membership. There can be more than one active member from the same business so long as the requirements are met. Active members are eligible for all official functions of WPPA including conventions, seminars, and print competition. Only Active members are listed on the WPPA “Find a photographer” page on the website.

Student - $53.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments Any individual preparing for a career in photography and enrolled on a fulltime basis in an accredited High School, College or other Institution may become a student member. Proof of enrollment is required. This is a Non-Voting Membership. Student members are eligible for all functions of WPPA including conventions, seminars, and print competition within the student category.
